Director of Instruction
As a son of two Tour professionals, Ken has studied, received, and absorbed golf methods from many athletes such as Tiger Woods, Jumbo Ozaki, Charles Howell III, Stuart Appleby, Bubba Watson, and many more as well as his father, Yoshi Mizumaki. Most of his childhood was spent on the golf range of Isleworth Country Club in Windermere, Florida, where many of these professionals either resided or were members. He was able to witness some of the true playing capabilities of the greatest players in the world, including Tiger from 1996 to 2007. Ken has also received private teachings from David Leadbetter, Phil Ritson, Brian Mogg, Mike Bender, Mike Malaska, and Gary Gilchrist on swing concepts and philosophies, all of whom are listed in the Top 50 Instructors in America.
Through this, Ken has created his own concept of instructing golf students from the beginners to the experts. In his short-career as an instructor, Ken has aided three students in Japan to claim their first and second victories on the ladies’ professional circuit. Now he has turned to teach non-professionals to play better golf. Having spent a great portion of his life studying the game, Boulder Oaks Golf Club believes he is uniquely qualified to teach you everything you need to know in order to make this very difficult game more enjoyable.
